Help! I am stuck, stuck, stuck! A few days ago I had reached 12st 12lb. That was a whole stone gone and I was over the moon! The next day I was up to 13st, which I put down to water etc but have stayed there for 3 days. The whole stone lost marker is a tantalising 2 strokes out of my reach. I don't think it's anything I am eating as I have not introduced anything new or eaten an excess of anything. I am drinking lots of water and keeping active. I added half an hour of fast walking yesterday too. I fished out some of my MANY pairs of too small jeans yesterday. One of the hints I picked up from here already! Disgarded the ones that would not go up past my knees and held onto a pair I could JUST ABOUT get all the way up but no way were they doing up. So I can use them as a marker. Now I just have to make myself NOT try them on everyday! I was reading about body memory on here... I was 13st 2lb for months and months. Do you think that could be it? Could I be stuck for months? This is where I usually fall off the plan. I get all rebellious and say "well if it's not working, stuff it" and go eat something awful. Has anyone tried the Atkins Core 4 Accel tablets? Some of the ingredients look a bit weird to me. I just bought some in an effort to get moving again. Any feedback appreciated. Thank you.

It`s terrible when you are stuck, but You need to lay off the Processed foods (Atkins Bars).
Stick to the basics for a week , and check then.
eat Meats (Not processed ), eggs, cheese and your vegies....
If you cut everything else out, you WILL notice a difference.

Dawn is right, I have never seen anyone switch to strict low carb not see progress and keep drinking the water , the more the better. It could be body body memory, but if it is , it will break. I know I have a few of those set points ahead of me too. If it makes you feel any better, I first hit 231 on the 29th of july, I went up and down ever since and finally hit it again yesterday for the first time in a week., I had hit 231.5 the 23rd, so really I have been up and down a lot for a while, today, I finally hit 229.5. But, I also really started drinking down the fluids and I am eating pretty pure the last couple days. These things seem to really be working. So, I would have to agree with Dawn, just get back to basics and plenty of fluids a day, and lets see what happens. Just hang in there, that is what this board is all about, helping each other through these hard times and we all have them from time to time. Stephie

OK - Atkins bars are IN THE CUPBOARD! Do you guys eat Almonds? I know brazils are lower in carbs, but I am a bit sick of those. I have a suspicion that pistachios stall me and cashews are too high in carbs I am going to a dog show all day on Sunday - any suggestions for something to take to eat? I know they will have home baked stuff there - which is one of my biggest demons! It's not close to a town and it's 120miles from home. All suggestions welcome.

it`s these days out, that really try us...
According to the Atkins Book, Nuts and seeds per 2 Tablespoons, is as follows:-
Walnuts 1.7 carbs Pecans 2.1 (Chopped) Macadamia 2.3 Pine Nuts 2.4 Hazelnuts 2.8 (Whole) Pumpkin seeds 3.1 Peanuts 3.4 Almonds 3.6 (Whole) Pistachio 4.7
I would also look at an insulated bag that you can carry a container of Cheese stuffed cucumbers, cold meats, boiled eggs....... and a bag of "Parmesan Chips" made in the microwave, for a crispy alternative.
Take more food than you think you need. Better to be completely pre-pared, rather than being caught short.
