As I mentioned when I first started(yesterday), the 'find' of potassium in the nosalt products was amazing!
I remember my mom and dad eating bananas on a regular basis so they could 'get my potassium'. Even though they liked the fruit, as do I, I am sure they would have opted to put the nosalt stuff on their food and find some other way to fertilize the poor rosebush!
After checking package labels for low fat for the last 5 months, I found it easy to look at them and found a palatable, salty and OK tasting snack to move away from prodigious amounts of popcorn and have the added value of protein. So now, I eat the Pork Skins--sounds terrible, but has no carbs and a bunch of protein.....and the needed salt for me!
To me, bits of useful knowledge are very helpful. Joe

Without Potassium, I think you can get cramps... Leg cramps..
We have Pork Crackles here in OZ for Zero Carbs........ must be the same as Pork Skins.
Helped ween me off Potato crips LOL..
They can also be crushed and used as a "Breadding" coating for frying.......(can mix powdered parmesan in with it for a different tast to the coating)...
There are quite a few different things people have found for these things!
Dawn ;D
