I Have seen a lot of advertisement for Carb Blockers, promising to block up to 57% of carbs consumed.
Anyone taking these products?
If so, please share your findings.

I never have, but I know when my friend was on her herballife that was one of the things she took. I figure I do not eat enough starch to need it anyway, so I did not try it. It might be nice for maint if you eat a bad meal, but I just am nervous to take any kind of weight loss medicine. Maybe someone else can give us some insight !! ???Stephie

The magazines here are are in a full advertizing campain to sell these things. Mind you, they aren`t mentioning anything about re-ducing your daily carb intake, just take the pills.
Another instance of eating & self medicating.
But as you said........ maybe good for maintenence, for those occasions where we have no choice on foods ( Like catered weddings etc), but i wouldnt want to survive on them.

That is an excellent use of them, as a tool but not as the total method to lose all your weight. If you just took those and did not cut down on the starch I am sureyou are still setting off the dangerous levels of insulin that cause all the diseases we are trying to avoid. This woe is about more than just weight, it is about being healthy. To use them occasionally when you have to eat things you would rather not, or go hungry, they may be a great solution. I am still leery of any kinds of pills however. stephie

I totally agree........
They are following the wav of "Fat Blockers" that flooded the market..........
but to now be pushing "Carb Blockers", just goes to show they are slowly getting it. ....TOO many carbs are the problem.
Pills are not the way to go about it, but they are looking at it as a Money spinner.
