According to Good Morning America, Subway, TGI Fridays and Ruby Tuesday have specific menu items especially for Atkins folks. This has been a long time coming and well over due. So kudos to these restaurants for getting with the program. Also Hardees has a new low carb thickburger. I tried one of these and they are pretty darn good. My only complaint is that they didn't cut the price any. You still pay just as much as a hamburger with the bun. You'd think that they'd discount it some since they are saving the bun. Oh well.

Chili's has GREAT knife & fork fajitas served over the most delicious veggies! They also have steak & veggies!It was the best low carb food I have had yet! Kathy

I have found that many places are becoming more receptive to low carb and are more willing to substitute things for the items you can't have. We have a local family restarant in town that has several low carb items on the menu as the ower is on low carb, she even has a strawberry cheese cake that is low carb. Her zero carb breakfast is wonderful, but she is not open weekday mornings, only weekend. It is definately more fun to eat out now that there are more low carb choices. Stephie

while "low carb" options are great, many are not low enough for induction or are simply lower than the standard meal. Great info on all the food from the fast foods places. I am new here on low carb and looking for all the help I can get. I do eat at these places often so this info will be helpful to me.
