It is true that many high carb dieters are leery of the Atkins diet due to the high amount of saturated animal fats. But on the opposite extreme it could be very difficult to stay slim and get enough protein on vegetarian diets. The best of both worlds, as I recently discovered, is the LOW CARB FLEXI DIET. This is a low carb flexible vegetarian diet which can be used on a meal to meal basis by low carb dieters who want to eat some animal protein but do not want too many saturated fats all the time. You can search for “LOW CARB FLEXI DIET” and watch the related famous pod cast introducing researcher John Theobald's diet, towards the bottom of which you can find the link titled 'John Theobald’s Low-Carb Vegetarian Diet Plan'. You may want to investigate this option to lower the saturated fats. All the best.
