Total carbs 6.3c
I put a dish in the freezer to get it really cold and lined with glad wrap.
I used a small baking dish. (6"x6")
Mix dry ing. together
2 or 3 tablspoons cocoa (I use 2) 3.8
50g almonds (I used blender to chop up) could use any nuts 2
1/4 teasp stevia 0
4 splenda tabets .5 Note:- 5 tabs = 1/4 cup
Add
1/4 cup coconut oil (liquid) 0
Add oil and set in a dish.
I slightly tilted the dish when not set so I got some thick bits and some thin just to try out.
MMMM I am impressed tastes like lindt choc bit sweete and with heaps of crushed almonds.
You could add coconut as well or isnstead. 50g 3.3c
I would half coconut and half nuts.
Also.... someone else added:-
Since finding coconut oil locally I've made something similar a couple of times - with oil, coconut, almond meal, splenda granules and cocoa. I had to be careful to portion it over a few days each time or I'd have eaten it all! I used aluminium foil instead of glad wrap and just kept it in the fridge.
Then I decided I didn't want to eat chocolate all the time and I ran out of almond meal, so I just mixed up oil, coconut, splenda and lemon essence. It was OK for a change, but it was much easier to take a few days to eat. I think it needs an acquired taste.
I tried hazelnut meal with the oil, splenda and cocoa and it was a bit bitter without coconut. Also pecans, coconut, oil and splenda was a bit too sweet without the cocoa. I may not be a whizz in the kitchen, but at least I can say they were all edible .
